Union Gas contributes to Lake Laurentian Conservation Area, Volunteer Honoured

SUDBURY – Union Gas continued its commitment to improving the trail system at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area (LLCA) through a $3,000 grant presented to the Friends of Lake Laurentian earlier today.

Marc Tonelli, Union Gas utility services manager for Sudbury made the presentation this afternoon. Sheilah Arena, a long-time volunteer and member of the Friends of Lake Laurentian (FLL) accepted the cheque (below).

Our caring nature is reflected in our company culture, whether we are building a pipeline or erecting a new energy-efficient office building,” said Marc Tonelli, Union Gas utility services manager for Sudbury. “That’s why we support important environmental programs in the communities we serve. We are pleased to continue our support of Conservation Sudbury so users can continue to take advantage of these fantastic local trails.”
