Lake Laurentian Conservation Area 2014 Events
Christmas Bird Count for Kids
There is no cost for this activity, however the donation of a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank is requested.
Are you and your family always wondering what bird that is visiting your feeders? Come out and take part in Conservation Sudbury's second annual Christmas Bird Count for Kids!
Participants will be introduced to our local winter bird species, then head out in birding teams with an experienced birder for a hike and bird count. Following presentations of bird counts and prizes, which have been generously donated by the Backyard Birder, families will have the opportunity to make a bird house or feeder to bring home and attract some feathered friends to their yards!
